If we learn from our mistakes, why are we always so afraid to make a mistake?
Because one small mistake can change everything. And mistakes are not always irreversible. Yeah, once we get over the aftermath of the mistake we learn from it, and we learn what not to do next time. But more often than not the effects of mistake are just so detrimental that we are so scared to make one because we don’t want to ruin our relationships, our lives, our plans. We don’t want to ruin our happiness. Usually good things can end because of mistakes one person makes… logically, why would we not be afraid doing something that could change so much? I think we would be less afraid of mistakes if the consequences weren’t as big as we’ve experienced them to be. We’re afraid of mistakes because sometime’s we would give anything to not have things change. And we don’t want that change to be because of one stupid mess up.
